Please don't forget that the Madison Square
writers group will meet as scheduled, on Wednesday,
November 7th, in Fellowship hall at 7:00 p.m. This
group is a vibrant,
creative part of our church family. Many of us are writing stories taken from
our early lives. One person is writing short essays about peace. Another is writing
about
society and community. We have room in our group for more writers. If you want
to write but have been reluctant to join us, please consider attending our November
meeting. If you would like more information or extra encouragement, you
may call the MSPC Writers Group Tredpidation Helpline, at 402-4009.
Thank you all so much for the prayers, cards and
e-mails! I am home and doing much better. I think
that is the last time I will try the "Walk
for the Cure" in Houston, in early October,
though! We are all blessed to be members of such
a caring, loving church family, I know I am!

Name a great fund-raising goal and chances are
it's among hundreds that these organizations are
already funding by collecting all types of clean,
dry paper from their community. Abitibi-Consolidated
Recycling Division provides this program and collection
service at no charge to each location. Bright green
and yellow containers - called Abitibi Paper Retrievers® -
are placed in highly visible, convenient areas
where residents can drop off their newspaper, magazines,
shopping catalogs and mail. Usually, the majority
of the paper is received from the surrounding neighborhoods.
Even areas that already provide curbside recycling
are successful in raising money by providing a
convenient place to drop off paper when families
know that your organization will benefit from their
donation.
We need all your: newspapers, magazines, shopping
catalogs, office & school papers, mail
Please do not include: plastic, glass, metals,
trash
The Retriever is located in the parking lot next
to storage shed.
Catholic Charities is again hosting an Ask-A-Lawyer

Catholic Church (130 S. San Augustine Ave.-corner
of General McMullen and Commerce) in their Community
Center behind the church. I hope that you
will pass the attached information along to anyone
you feel could benefit from this. Feel free
to contact me if you have any questions!
